You are invited to The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance’s 10th Anniversary Celebration Friday, November 30, 2007 · 6 – 9 pm On December 16, 1997, community members representing local conservation organizations met to discuss the future of the Badger Army Ammunition Plant. This meeting was the first of the Community Conservation Coalition for the Sauk Prairie, or what is now The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance. Ten years later, our programs and membership have grown, but our mission remains the same: we support conservation of the Badger Army Ammunition Plant lands and the greater Sauk Prairie landscape through education, research, ecological restoration, and community participation. We hope you will join us for a night of celebration and friendship as we share our memories of the last 10 years and our plans for the future. Informal attire is appropriate. The buffet will feature locally-produced food and drink. Event Location: Park Plaza Convention Center 630 W Pine Street, Baraboo, WI Tickets to the anniversary dinner are $28 per person to cover the costs of the event. If you are interested in ordering tickets, please contact the Alliance Coordinator, Alison Duff, at alison@saukprairievision.org. A full description of the menu is coming soon! We are currently finalizing plans with local farms.
