Alliance seeks Restoration Volunteer Coordinator
With financial support from the Sauk County ATC grant, the Alliance is able to hire a part-time seasonal Restoration Volunteer Coordinator this year to oversee our robust volunteer program. Volunteers routinely help restore native prairie and oak savanna at what is called the “Hillside Prairie” at the former Badger Army Ammunition Plant, now Sauk Prairie State Recreation Area.
Our Coordinator job announcement can be viewed here. Interested parties should note that the deadline for receipt of application materials is noon on Monday, March 20.
The Coordinator will help recruit new volunteers and plan and oversee our twice-monthly work days at Badger and elsewhere. Work days are scheduled on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month from March through November, with the exception of July and August. Please see our “Events” postings eslewhere on this website.
