Members of the Alliance visited remnants of the Sauk Prairie at our
"Picnic on the Prairie" in July 2005.

Volunteers helped restoration efforts
at a savanna remnant at the Badger Plant in May 2005.
The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance supports conservation activities involving the Badger Army Ammunition Plant lands and the surrounding Sauk Prairie landscape, through education, research, ecological restoration, and community participation. The Badger Army Ammunition plant's 7,354 acres is slated to be converted to conservation, restoration, recreation, and agriculture.

Help us make this vision a reality!
Our 2007 restoration schedule has been finalized! Join us inside Badger as we continue to remove invasive species from remnant prairie and savanna sites and collect seed for our November 3, 2007 Prairie Festival!
