The Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance is holding its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, March 29th, from 6:00pm until 7:30pm at the Ruth Culver Library in Prairie du Sac (Community Room). There will be a short meeting of Alliance members at 6:00pm to nominate and elect new members to the board of directors.
The program for the evening, starting at 6:30pm, is “Bridging Conservation and Agriculture at Badger” with guest speakers Mike Stanek ,US Dairy Forage Research Center property manager, who will describe the Center’s evolving role at Badger, and Cherrie Nolden, farmer and PhD candidate, who will share the fascinating story of her innovative use of goats to remove invasive shrubs at Badger.
The evening program is open to the public. Snacks and refreshments will be available.
