Join fellow Alliance Volunteers for our FINAL restoration work day of 2017. We will be cutting some invasive shrubs at the oak savanna and creating an “insect refugium” on the Hillside Prairie by clearing vegetation prior to this fall’s anticipated burn.
Meet at 8:45am at the entrance to Badger on Hwy 12 (across from Citgo Station) for sign-in and carpooling to the work site. Wear several layers of clothing, good shoes or boots, and work gloves (we will provide gloves if you don’t have them).
We’ll complete a quick equipment inventory at the end of today’s field projects, and then convene afterwards at the Woodshed Ale House in Sauk City for a final celebration of our season’s work. Please join us!
