Come learn about the long and varied geologic history of the Sauk Prairie Recreation Area, from the origins of the 1.7 billion year-old Baraboo Quartzite, to the glacial features of the Johnstown Moraine and everything in between. Join us for a look at the unique geologic features of this newest state recreation area.
