Please join fellow volunteers for a few hours of prairie and savanna restoration on the Badger Lands on Saturday, August 22, 9:00am to 12:00pm. Meet at 8:45am at the parking lot of the Badger Museum off Hwy 12, across the highway from the Citgo Station. Wear long pants and socks, durable shoes or boots, long sleeved shirt, hat and work gloves, if you have them. We will provide tools and work gloves for those who need them, as well as water and snacks. We’ll caravan to the work site where we will provide instruction and tools. Our goal is to cut invasive shrubs on the savanna and edge of the prairie.
